There was only Bruce Q, our club president, that turned up for the ride. We had a good ride, and I was surprised how far we ended up travelling, even after a shortcut. . . 87.7 km.
For me (BigPete) it has been about ten years since I rode up Tucki Tucki. It brought back memories of my very first road race. A good memory indeed.
Bruce was quick up the hills. He sure can spin up them. I tried to follow suit, but soon ran out of breathe. We both travelled quickly along the flats, especially when the wind was on our back. However, most of the time the wind came from everywhere else except where we thought (from weather forecast) it was supposed to be.
Sorry, no photos today. I got all caught up using Strava for the first time. Bruce helped me to get acquainted with the software.
